Indiana Player Claims $2M in Mega Millions Draw

Yesterday’s Mega Millions drawing failed to award the jackpot, causing it to increase further. At the time of the draw, the top prize was valued at $195 million, with a cash option of $86.3 million. To win the jackpot, players needed to match all six numbers drawn.

The winning numbers for the draw were 12, 22, 50, 51, and 55, along with the gold Mega Ball 10.

No player matched the complete number combination, but one individual came close by matching all the white numbers except one. As a result, they won a consolation prize of $2 million.

Nine other players also secured prizes by matching four white numbers and the Mega Ball, earning the game’s third-tier award. Six of these winners will receive $20,000 each, while the remaining three will be awarded $30,000 each thanks to a 3X multiplier.

With no jackpot winner, the grand prize has now climbed to $215 million, surpassing the $200 million threshold. A potential winner could choose between receiving the full annuity amount or opting for the lump-sum cash value of $95.2 million.

This year, only two individuals have won the Mega Millions jackpot. The first was a player from Illinois who correctly matched all the winning numbers. Just days later, she emerged forward to claim the impressive $536 million prize.

Only two draws after that, a winner in Ohio claimed a $60 million jackpot on St. Patrick’s Day—though the victor turned out to be the Happy Trails Trust, rather than an individual.
